The main aims of our curriculum are to: create a love of learning; build children’s cultural capital through knowledge and experiences; and to support children to become independent, well-mannered and ‘school ready’. We tailor our curriculum to meet the needs of the children and to help every child to be the best they can be.
The curriculum is based around exploration and play as this is how young children learn best. We use development matters and the 7 areas of learning and development to enhance play, plan engaging and purposeful activities and create next steps for children to work towards.
The activities we provide are often based around a theme, this can be a special or current event, a book or the interests of the children.
