About Us

  As a mum of 3 and having to juggle childcare when I was working out of the house full time myself I know how important it is to find a high quality, reliable childminder that can provide a loving, nurturing environment for your child to develop in and also to have fun! Having my own children I have a lot of experience with working with a range of different ages- including newborns! My own children are aged 3, 8 and 13 years old.

 We have a passion for childcare and education and have both gained valuable experience throughout the years. We provide a loving, nurturing environment and are passionate about working with young children to promote independence, support their personal, social and emotional development and encourage a life-long love of learning through our exciting and engaging curriculum that allows children to learn through exploration.

  I am a qualified teacher and completed my degree in Primary Education (3-7). Before caring for children in our home from home setting, I completed school placements in nursery, reception and year one and have worked as a supply teacher across various York schools and early years settings. I have an excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS statutory framework and development matters.
